Sales Representative must customarily and\n\n\u00a0 regularly engage in work away from company's place of business.\n\n*\u00a0Promote and sell Graybar products in compliance with all company pricing policies and\n\n\u00a0\u00a0 instructions, to achieve maximum gross margin rate.\n\n*\u00a0Handle customer complaints promptly, effectively and report potential claims.\n\n*\u00a0Keep management informed of local competition and market conditions.\n\n*\u00a0Carry out sales and merchandise programs as directed and recommend new items for stock.\n\n*\u00a0Participate in training sessions, trade shows, and sales meetings as requested.\n\n*\u00a0Perform other duties as assigned.\n\n\n\nSKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE\n\nEducation: Bachelors degree preferred.\n\n\n\nExperience: Two to four years' of previous sales experience within the Electrical Utility Markets.\n\n\n\nKnowledge:\u00a0 Broad knowledge of product line and pricing. Proven ability to learn our business and to work independently to achieve goals. Negotiation skills along with ability to sell and be persuasive. Broad knowledge of business administration, sales, and marketing. Professional appearance and demeanor. Acceptable driving record.
