This is your chance to join a Fortune 500 company with a 140-year history of entrepreneurial innovation and a philosophy of \"promote from within.\" Join our team and let Graybar work to YOUR advantage!\n\n\n\nTHE REQUIREMENTS\n\n\n\n\n\n* Assist Customer Service Department by performing administrative tasks, including: job lot billing to customers, faxing orders and quotations, and providing POD for warehouse shipments.\u00a0\n\n* Process customer credits and deductions, tax certificates, and resolve customer issues.\u00a0\n\n* Perform service functions for the branch, including branch filing and mail, maintaining tax certificate files, and backing up receptionist, as necessary.\u00a0\n\n* Process branch transactions, i.e., returned goods, posting receiving reports, warehouse billing, and cost adjustments.\u00a0\n\n* Depending on position level, participate in Quality Improvement teams in an effort to limit rework, streamline administrative functions, and enhance the service effort within the branch.\u00a0\n\n* Perform other duties as assigned.\n\n\u00a0\n\nSKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE\n\n\u00a0\n\nEducation:High school diploma or G.E.D.\n\nExperience:Prior customer service experience is preferred.\n\nKnowledge: Broad knowledge of administrative and service functions. Extensive knowledge of computer modes is preferred. Ability to interface with all levels of employees and management.
